Waiting...

It looks like we are staying on track for Zach's arrival on March 17th, St. Patty's Day! We went to the Dr. today and he is still sitting high, with his head down. Nothing else going on. 37 weeks tomorrow so I'm officially 3 weeks away. It feels so good to be done with everything around the house, so now I can just sit back and enjoy time with Tyler while I wait. I even have a cleaning lady scheduled for tomorrow so I don't have to worry about that! I am so excited and anxious to go through this delivery the way your supposed to and just wait for him to make his way on his own (hopefully). Everything looks great!

Updates!

Well, we found out recently that we are having another boy! So excited that Tyler will have a little brother to push around, I mean, play with...!! Let's hope! Two little boys sounds like just my style, even though I do hope for a girl in the future. Now I don't feel quite as bad buying clothes for the little guy, knowing we'll use them twice. I'm 25 weeks now and about to enter my third trimester. All looks perfect according to the Dr. yesterday, so I am just hoping to continue staying healthy and maintaining my weight and blood pressure. We are still deciding on names, but I think we will be able to announce that soon too.

Tyler is doing great, talking up a storm and letting his independance be known in everyway. I think we have entered the terrible two's a bit early with his knew talent of screaming so loud that I think I lost my hearing, but we are working on that. The good thing is that he does great with time outs and says "Im so" (meaning I'm sorry) after he's finished. Oh little boy....

I am so excited for the holidays this year, even though it looks like it will be a quiet one here at home with just us, I think that's really what I need. We have been traveling so much recently and my pregnant body is starting to say enough already. We are going to Brandon's Christmas party this weekend and next and I am so excited to get "pretty" and go out with the "working people" for a night or two. Should be fun!!

Yikes!

So yet again it has been a long time since I have blogged last, and now almost mid-October, I don't even know how to catch up. We are having a fantastic fall so far this year for so many reasons. First, I am 16 1/2 weeks pregnant and finally feeling the energy and goodness of the second trimester!! The summer was a tough one for me since I had so much sickness and getting through the motions was about all I could muster in me everyday. But now I am feeling great and starting to have a tummy to too. We are heading to the Dr. tomorrow and I'm hoping we may get a sneak peak at the gender, but I keep telling myself not to expect much so I'm not let down, it is still a little early. The baby is due March 19th, so if we're lucky we'll have a St. Patty's day Irish baby!

My sister's baby Madelyn Grace is one month old and has stolen my heart already. BRandon and I went to vist last weekend in Dallas and it was so great to see her. Seeing a newborn again makes you realize how much yours has grown. And then I asked myself "All they do is sleep, whey did I think this was so hard?" Ahh, how quickly you forget. My sister and her husband are doing great and handling things much better that I did I have to say.

In two weeks we will be traveling to visit my parents for a week in Philly, my hometown. I am really excited to finally be going there this time of year and am looking forward to family time and time outside!

Tyler is doing awesome and is almost 18 months old. He is doing new things constantly and is a very busy, smart boy. He is 34 inches long and 26 lbs. He has 12 teeth now, including his first 4 molars. He is getting more and more hair everyday and his first haircut is right around the corner. He loves to talk, build, follow daddy around, bubbles!, the swing and the park, HEB!, music and other children. He goes to the Y 3 times a week and plays while I work out and does so well there. They do different activites with them and I just love that place. He is also going to church school now on Tuesday mornings while I attend bible study and after a few rough weeks is doing great. On Fridays we go to a mommy and me music program and he has so much fun there too. All in all he is such a joy and every day gets better and better.

Well, there's the summary of the last few months! I'm going to try to do better about writing more often!!

Long Summer

I don't know why, but I am feeling like this summer in some ways has flown by, and in others is dragging on and on. I think the yucky weather is playing a role in this, so I am thankful that it seems to be clearing up for the weekend (let's hope). I miss taking Ty on walks and to the park without the sticky humidity and the mosquitos getting us at every turn. I can honestly say I am done with summer and am ready to bring on the fall.

Ty got really sick recently too. It was his first time to have a high fever that lasted for 3 days. It would break during the day, then spike again at night. It ended up giving him a horrible rash that covered his entire body except his legs. He was so lethargic all weeek and just wanted to cuddle, which is so unlike him. I have watched so much Sesame Street and Clifford that I literally sings the theme songs in my dreams. I hate letting him watch TV too, but when he's sick and it's poring down rain all day, there isn't too many options. It looks like he is getting back to his good old self for the weekend, so I'm thankful for that.

I'm super excited to welcome my sisters baby, Madelyn Grace, coming in August!! We'll be heading to Dallas for a week when she is born so Tyler can meet his new cousin. Should be great.

Ty is 15 month old now and is doing the cutest things every day. He is very verbal, and is trying to say new words all the time. Also, this boy LOVES music. I'm not sure if this is a sign for his future endeavors, but is is really neat that he seems to emjoy it as much as his parents do. His favs are Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews and anything with a strong beat that he can "get down" too. Super cute.

Not sure why I decided to write a few random things today....But I am feeling very random so maybe that's it.

Here are some pics of recent events....

The 4th

We had a lot of fun in Concan this year on the 4th, being that is was our first time to really celebrate the holiday with Tyler. He was only 2 months old last year, so any celebrating I was doing involved sleeping :) We spent lots of time on the river and cooking great food. Tyler LOVED the water and enjoyed playing with the rocks. Our drive was a bit long and tiring, especially on the way home, but it is worth it (at least I have to tell my self that). Concan is so pretty and everytime we are there Brandon always talks about how he wants to own land there one day, we'll see. It also appears that Matthew Mcconaughey is from the area and is building a house around the same area that our house is...nice....Here are some pics...

Time Off

I haven't been in much of a blogging mood these days, and I just noticed that it has been a while since I have written. Things are trucking along, and I can't believe we are about to celebrate the 4th of July. We are heading to Concan this year with the family, for a small relaxing trip, unlike the last trip to Concan with 45 people! This should be nice. Our little fish can wade around in the water and have a blast while be all take turns watching out for the wild man. Tyler loves the water and has absolutely no fear. He think he can just walk right in and all will be fine. Lucky for us, I went and bought a life vest just incase. Mainly so I can relax and know that he has an extra safety net. I'm pretty excited! We got back from being in Galveston last weekend for our close friends wedding which Brandon and I were both in. We rented a beach house and had Brandon's family there to help us watch Tyler while were did our obligations to the bride and groom. All turned out great and we had a blast hanging out with our friends. Here are a few pictures of our summer so far...
